Former Miss India Navneet Kaur Dhillon, has won millions of hearts with her beauty and brains. Aspiring to become a successful Bollywood actress and determined to win the Miss World pageant, Navneet is clearly focused. Navneet believes in staying fit and healthy. She said, “Keeping active is crucial for staying healthy. The type of workout I do depends on my ability, goals, likes and dislikes, and how much time I have available. How is your fitness regimen like? Please elaborate how many days and for how many hour’s you workout?
Keeping active is crucial for staying healthy. The type of workout I do depends on my ability , goals, likes and dislikes, and how much time I have available. I work out for 45mins to an hour and I like working out four or five times a week ideally, but sometimes that is unachievable due to time constraints. I work out at least three times a week to stay fit and healthy.
Which are the areas you concentrate on more? Any particular body part?
I like to divide my body into upper and lower training groups. I train my chest, back, shoulders and arms on one day and legs and core the next day. This allows my upper body a day of rest while strengthen the lower body and the vice versa.

Prioritize consistency over intensity.
Do workouts you actually like—you’re more likely to stick with it.
Think of working out as an act of self-care.
Don’t compare yourself to people-Know that results don’t happen right away, and that’s OK.
Eat well and sleep for at least 7 to 8 hours.
How is your diet like? Please elaborate on your breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Make breakfast a priority. Eating breakfast when you’re trying to lose weight not only helps prevent you from overeating at your next meal, it also improves mood, concentration and memory.
An ideal breakfast looks like two slices of multigrain bread, half a cup of plain no- fat yogurt, a bowl of fresh seasonal fruits and one large egg prepared in different ways (boiled, sunny side up, omelette etc.).
When it comes to losing weight, lunch doesn’t get as much attention as breakfast, but having a good lunch might help you get through the afternoon without hitting on to junk. A good weight-loss lunch might include a bowl of yummy salad with lettuce, sliced tomato, cucumber, beat root/carrot, sprouts, olives and mustard with shredded cheese, served with one cups of sautéed vegetable , a small apple and half a cup of no-fat yogurt
I aim to keep it more proteins for dinner.
A piece of chicken Brest prepared in different ways, half a cup of brown rice or roti and sauteed spinach.
Any food stuff you avoid particularly? Are you calorie conscious?
I am not extremely calorie conscious but I watch what I eat. I don’t like to eat a lot of junk food. I find good taste in healthy food.
I avoid eating whatever doesn’t taste good to me even if it is very healthy.
What is your cheat food and how often do you cheat?
I don’t have a cheat food list. I eat everything that I like but in moderation. I’m not at all fond of sweets.
How is your skin care routine like? Name the products you swear by?
Cleaning Toning Moisturizing is a must after spending the whole day in harsh sun light and pollution.
Eating healthy is equally important to have glowing skin.

What are the skin problems you face? (may be breakouts, acne etc,)
I am blessed with good skin. I don’t face any skin problems.

Drink a lot of water and avoid doing too much.

Hair problems you face and how do you address them?
I sometimes get dry scalp because of the change in water. Coconut oil is one sure shot solution for any hair problem.
How often do you go for hair spas?
Once in 2 weeks.

Brush your hair properly- it increase the luster of your hair. And do not use plastic brushes as they cause increased breakage.

Erratic schedules and not enough prep time, are very avoidable for me. My stress busters are sleep, lots of it, spa, watching movies and good food.
